Working hands-on with growing businesses every day, he kept seeing the same pattern: companies with firewalls, monitoring, and incident-response plans in place were still losing real money not to sophisticated malware, but to a convincing email. Now he has realized AI has enabled fraudsters to impersonate a trusted vendor or executive on live calls.
